Nathaniel “Nate” Baker was a quiet kind of hero, not for headlines or recognition, but for the way he showed up every day for others. In 2025, Nate’s life was tragically cut short near the University of South Carolina, a place he loved deeply. In the wake of this loss, his family and community came to understand just how many lives he had touched through his everyday acts of kindness and integrity.
